The Great Floods of Summer 2007….

The floods of June and July 2007 affected thousands of properties and caused a great deal of damage to people’s homes and lives. Recognising our capability to project manage a large and varied number of claims, a national loss adjusting company awarded Concept Building Solutions a contract to strip out and reinstate many of the properties involved in the floods.

The challenges faced during the project were numerous. Properties in many different parts of the country were affected, the works required varied from house to house, and the majority of policy holders had never had to deal with such a large insurance claim before. Added to this was the need to quickly respond to the crisis caused by the floods, so that people and communities could return to their normal lives as swiftly as possible. Despite these pressures, Concept Building Solution’s commitment to customer service ensured that policy holders were kept up to date and informed during the works, and the number and quality of our work teams ensured that strip outs and reinstatements were swiftly dealt with to a very high standard.

In total, Concept Building Solutions successfully completed over 300 property strip outs within the first few weeks and then reinstated around another 250 properties, testimony to the professionalism and dedication of all our staff to provide a complete and high quality service. From start to finish Concept Building Solutions was focused on ensuring customer satisfaction, and the large number of properties that we were asked to assist with is proof of our success.

Following this success Concept were approached by another highly respected national leader in building claims restoration and have entered into a further contract becoming their approved repairer.
